The thesis

Editorial awards.
Not event awards.

The Honours are a Pharma Now editorial program - modelled on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women and the CIO 100, not on pay-to-play event trophies. Thirteen awards across five streams recognise the leaders, teams and breakthroughs genuinely moving Indian pharma IT forward.

Each award is defended by a weighted rubric, scored by jurors who specialise by category. Zero vendor representatives sit on any jury tier, and a sponsor-eligibility firewall is in place. The winners are sealed before the night.

Five streams.
One standard.

The unit of recognition shifts by stream - from the leader, to the work, to the breakthrough, to the ecosystem.

How a winner
is chosen.

A weighted, jury-led process with defensible discipline at every tier.

Tier 1 - 2

Specialist scoring

Editorial verifies every application’s evidence before scoring begins. Jurors specialise by category and score each rubric dimension 0–10; the weighted average sets the rank.

Tier 3

Grand Jury calibration

The Grand Jury calibrates across categories so no field produces an artificially weak or strong winner - keeping the program rigorous but not stingy, recognising but not generous.

Discipline

Recusal & confidentiality

Any current/recent employer, vendor, family or mentorship tie triggers automatic recusal. All applications and deliberations are confidential; recusal logs are published in aggregate.

40%
Industry vote - the practitioner community weighs in on the shortlist.
60%
Independent jury - specialist scoring against the weighted rubric.

A sponsor-eligibility firewall is in place. These are Pharma Now editorial awards - not pay-to-win event awards. Year 1 winners become natural Year 2 jurors.
